Velveteen Dream Appeared To Be Injured At WWE Royal Rumble

Velveteen Dream didn’t wrestle at the NXT TakeOver: Phoenix event this weekend, but he did compete in the Worlds Collide Tournament at Axxess. If you want to know how that tournament ended you can click here.

Dream was apparently backstage at the Royal Rumble event last night. According to PW Insider, he was wearing a neckbrace as well.

“The Velveteen Dream was sporting a neck brace last night. He had wrestled earlier in the day at the Royal Rumble AXXESS event.”

Wearing a neck brace might be Velveteen Dream’s way of making a fashion statement for the night. However, it’s not really cool to joke about an injury especially if you’re using a medical device as a prop. Then again, you never know about Velveteen Dream because he might just want people to keep talking about him.
