The Undertaker’s legendary career captured an impressive WrestleMania winning streak. He has suffered losses on two occasions, but it would still be hard to touch his accomplishments.
It doesn’t look like fans will get another Undertaker match this year at WrestleMania. He didn’t show up at the Royal Rumble and kick off the Road To WrestleMania with the rest of WWE. Dave Meltzer said on Wrestling Observer Radio that right now Taker isn’t scheduled for WrestleMania and it seems like his return could be up in the air at best.
“They have a top of the card lined up, not the whole card, but they got the top of the card done and he’s not in that. That doesn’t mean that he can’t be added. So I mean as far as the rumors, I can’t imagine The Undertaker in a nothing match. I think he’s either in a big match or he’s not there at all and right now he’s not in a big match.”
“Can that change next week? Of course, it can so I would say it’s up in the air. You can say that there are no plans I can say as of four or five days ago he’s not listed for the card.”
It was noted that Taker didn’t look great in his last two matches at Super Show-Down and WWE Crown Jewel. It’s not like The Undertaker will never wrestle again, but he might need another break. Therefore, The Dead Man might not need the money and protecting his image is more important to him right now.
