Who Were The Vikings During War Raiders’ NXT TakeOver: Phoenix Entrance

The War Raiders kicked off NXT TakeOver: Phoenix by capturing the NXT Tag Team Titles from Undisputed Era. The Phoenix crowd was especially pumped for this match not only because it started the spectacular event, but their entrance included a hoard of Vikings.

Dave Meltzer was asked who the Vikings were during Wrestling Observer Radio. It turns out that not only does Raymond Rowe have a bunch of Vikings that he can call whenever he needs them, but his wife was also a part of the group.

“It was like Ray Rowe’s buddies and Sarah Logan was in the entrance too by the way.”

This was a great entrance and pumped the crowd in a big way. The War Raiders seemed to benefit from having this special entrance as well and it could have given them the extra bit of something special needed to pull down a hard-fought win to become new NXT Tag Team Champions.
