Ronda Rousey’s current status with WWE is a big question right now. The one thing we know for sure is that she loves WWE and even if she leaves after WrestleMania, it doesn’t mean goodbye at all.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that plans for Rousey to leave WWE are thought to be likely and: “As of today, this was the plan.”
However, even if she leaves she will still be associated with the company. If anything, she will show up on rare occasions.
Pro Wrestling Sheet said that Rousey is still under a multi-year deal with WWE and the possibility of her taking a break was something WWE knew about when she signed with them. She told them in November that she might want to take a break from the company as well.
TMZ reports that Rousey is still very happy with WWE and she’s not ready to “pull the plug” at this time.
“Multiple sources connected to Ronda tell TMZ Sports she’s ‘super happy’ in her new career and isn’t ready to pull the plug just yet.”
This doesn’t mean she won’t be taking a break because it was already established that she would be able to come back if she did. Rousey wants to start a family with husband Travis Browne and has already been approved to do so while remaining under WWE contract.
We will keep you updated on Ronda Rousey’s on-going story as more events unfold. This makes Rousey’s involvement in the Royal Rumble and WrestleMania event which follows even more interesting.
