All Elite Wrestling looks very attractive for a lot of people out there, especially veteran wrestlers who aren’t signed to a company. When Cody Rhodes spoke to TMZ, he revealed that AEW isn’t really looking for established names from the past.

He spoke about the WWE Attitude Era, and while it was a great time in wrestling that’s not the roster Rhodes wants. All Elite Wrestling’s goal is to bring in fresh talent and that is what Cody says his job is.

“I think we’re looking for wrestlers and I’m not knocking anything in the mainstream, but that’s what won with ALL IN is fresh, fresh product. It was a mistake if you just try to lead with familiar faces from the days of old. We can’t keep reminding people that the Attitude Era was great. We all know it was really great. This era can be really good too so that’s my goal, that’s my job to find the fresh guys, you know.”

Goldberg is rumored to be a name AEW could bring in and they already signed Chris Jericho. However, it doesn’t sound like Cody is looking to fill the rest of the slots in All Elite Wrestling’s roster with too many names from the past.
