WWE might have lost a monster in Lars Sullivan. He suffered from what is believed to be an anxiety attack when RAW was in Orlando and then he went home the next day instead of showing up to SmackDown Live in Jacksonville.
Since returning home to Colorado, WWE has reportedly not heard from Sullivan and he missed some dates. He is tentatively still scheduled to be at RAW on Monday where he could start a rivalry with John Cena, but the 16x World Champion isn’t likely to be there since he starts filming a movie in Canada on the 20th.
Brad Shepard reports that his source in WWE told him that they needed to make some big changes to RAW this week because Sullivan was supposed to be a part of the action. It is also said that this recent event isn’t sitting too well with Vince McMahon either no matter what the reason is.
“I talked to a source in #WWE today about Lars Sullivan: He was supposed to attack John Cena on #RAW. Plans changed with him not being there and they had to completely re-shuffle Cena’s schedule over this. I was told Vince doesn’t like unreliable guys, whether it’s a valid condition or excuse. It’s definitely still possible that Lars jumps Cena soon and the feud begins, but it was made clear to me that he has ‘screwed this up so far.'”
Triple H is said to be taking a lot of the heat for Lars Sullivan’s recent situation. It seems like this is yet another “wait and see” moment in WWE. We should be used to that sort of thing by now, but it’s always frustrating not knowing what is going on. Just imagine how Vince McMahon must feel.
