A number of major stars in ROH have made their exit from the company. Names like The Young Bucks, Cody and the members of SoCal Uncensored are now with AEW. ROH, meanwhile, is attempting to build back up their roster and get back on track for 2019.
NJPW stars David Finlay and IWGP United States Champion Juice Robinson made their debuts for ROH during the TV tapings last night and in the process, announced the formation of a new faction titled “The Lifeblood.”
This faction, led by Robinson, includes Finlay, former WWE Superstar Tenille Dashwood (Emma), Bandido, Mark Haskins and “Hot Sauce” Tracy Williams.
After the announcement of the faction, ROH World Champion Jay Lethal hit the ring to put the group over, noting that “The Lifeblood” are going to put the honor back in Ring of Honor.
It does appear that ROH are focusing on building a number of stables in similar fashion to NJPW moving forward- with Marty Scurll’s “Villian Enterprises,” Matt Taven’s “The Kingdom,” and now Robinson’s “The Lifeblood” faction taking over a significant portion of the roster.
