New Champions Crowned At NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool

NXT UK got their first TakeOver in Blackpool and they had new champions to crown. The NXT UK Tag Team Titles had yet to find a home, but Mustache Mountain and The Grizzled Young Veterans were certain to give each other a very hard time for those titles.

The two teams beat the stuffing out of each other. If you like hard-hitting pro wrestling then this is a match you’re going to want to see. Not only because the crowd was fire the whole time, but because they were absolutely brutal with each other.

After a ton of near-fall finishes, Mustache Mountain couldn’t get the job done and Grizzled Young Veterans won the match. It was a great finish that included one of the best sequences we’ve seen in a long time. Bate was taken out on the outside with a Doomsday Device/ suicide dive combo. Then Seven took a Ticket To Mayhem and that was all she wrote.

This was a great way to kick off the first-ever NXT UK TakeOver special.
