All Elite Wrestling has a big rally scheduled for this afternoon, but one thing that they might not be addressing is a television contract. They could always surprise us, but it seems like they’re not quite there yet, however, they are apparently close.

Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that a television deal isn’t confirmed yet, but there is a lot of momentum.

“It’s far along enough that everyone’s confident of it. It’s far enough along that the Khan Family signed all these guys to big deals.”

“I would be surprised if a TV is announced [at the rally]. I don’t think it’s done yet but I think they’re confident there will be a TV deal in some form. It’s the television business, so we’ll see.”

We previously reported via Rajah that AEW was speaking to a Time Warner channel and that could be a big deal if they land that kind of a spot on the television dial. We will have to wait and see, but there is certainly momentum in the right direction.
