All Elite Wrestling held their press conference today in Jacksonville and there are a few notable differences with this company already. They are promoting talent and promised a big change in the professional wrestling world.
Cody said they are changing the wrestling economy with All Elite Wrestling because happy wrestlers mean happy fans so fans come first. He also said that wins and losses will matter as they’ve never mattered before.
There will be no predetermined grid of how to be a fan and they won’t tell you who to cheer for.
Brandi Rhodes later came out and said that there will be a Women’s Division in AEW. She wants to cast a wide net to bring women into AWE. She then talked about working with some of the best women’s wrestlers on the planet over the Summer.
It sounds like AEW will have a big international aspect and Brandi said that we will be hearing more about meetings they had with some Japanese wrestlers later on.
She also made a promise that AEW will pay male and female talent equally. This could be a very different kind of pro wrestling company.
