Marty Scurll is still under contract with ROH and Kenny Omega’s status is a huge matter of question. However, the latest episode of Being The Elite could be a huge hint.

There were many notable parts of the new BTE episode including footage of the first five AEW talent contracts being signed. Then they had an unconventional New Year’s party where Omega and Scurll drank alone.

The episode also included clips from behind the scenes at the Tokyo Dome where each member of The Elite came back as losers at Wrestle Kingdom 13. Marty said that he’ll see everyone soon, and then they mentioned how they’re starting their own All Elite Wrestling company.

“What the f*ck is AEW?” Scurll asked. Then they explained things to him with everyone in the conversation including Kenny Omega. They had a big group hug and everyone left. Kenny was the last to exit saying he lost his phone which left Marty Scurll standing alone.

The show went back to the bar with Marty and Kenny’s New Year’s party. Eventually, Cody, The Bucks, and Page showed up and the joined the celebration after some comedy. However, the party was eventually ended and they put on another familiar parody.

Scurll was eventually left alone again where he re-enacted the final scene of the show Cheers. He said “I’ll tell ya what, I’m the luckiest son of a b*tch on the planet” before telling someone, “Sorry, we’re closed.”

You never know what could happen next. The show ended with a close up of a red phone which we suppose is Kenny’s missing cell. There was also the sound of a ticking clock. We’re not sure what this could mean exactly, but the big question is who might be calling The Cleaner.
