Johnny Impact Wants Several High-Profile Names for the Impact Wrestling Roster

Impact Wrestling is moving to Pursuit HD from Pop TV, and as the company prepare for their Homecoming PPV this weekend from The Asylum in Nashville, Tennessee on Sunday night, Johnny Impact spoke to Sean Sapp over at Fightful on the Impact roster.

According to Impact, who was recently a member of the Survivor cast, he would like to see several high-profile stars show up in Impact Wrestling. While he didn’t speak to the amount of dates these competitors would work, Impact named Chris Jericho and the various members of The Elite as top competitors he’d like to see brought in for the product.

In particular, Impact notes that Hangman Page often doesn’t get as much credit as the other members of The Elite, and deserves the spotlight. The Jericho Cruise was the catalyst for Impact learning about the talent that Page possesses. Impact had the following to say:

“I don’t know if people remember, but one of the times Chris Jericho left Raw, the night that he left he lost a match to John Morrison. I’ve wrestled Chris dozens of times over my career. He’s not called the GOAT for no reason. He’s one of the most talented performers ever in and out of the ring. A lot of those guys from the Elite — you know who is an interesting person that doesn’t get talked about enough? “Hangman” Adam Page. I was really impressed with what he did on the Jericho Cruise. I know he’s got a lot of fans from around the globe, but I feel he’s underrated.”
