According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, one wrestler featured on the Final Battle card may actually be in hot water with management over an issue that may have taken place during the night.
Jonathan Gresham faced and lost to Zack Sabre Jr. at Final Battle. After the match concluded, Gresham reportedly left the building- despite the company asking for Gresham to appear during the Jay Lethal vs. Cody ROH World Championship bout to help defend Lethal against Adam Page.
Because Gresham did not show up to help Lethal, Dave Meltzer explains in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that he was taken off the Final Battle Fallout TV tapings that took place the next night, where he had been scheduled to wrestle in two matches.
It is important to note that Gresham did actually show up for the tapings, though he stayed all night long watching the monitors. Whatever took place at Final Battle now seems to be resolved, though Gresham came out of this looking rather unprofessional.
ROH will hold their next set of TV tapings at Center Stage in Atlanta, Georgia on January 12. At this time, Gresham is scheduled to appear according to the official ROH website.
