Vince McMahon Makes Last Minute Production Change on RAW This Week

As seen on RAW this past week, Vince McMahon announced that WWE would introduce new Women Tag Team Championship titles, John Cena’s return and a steel cage match for the New Year Eves episode of RAW.

Mike Johnson discussed this announcement on the latest installment of PWInsider Elite Audio and mentioned that this segment was something the company filmed last minute, indicating that it was seemingly filmed after they taped the show.

The belief is that it was also recorded after the commentators record any changes to the commentary track and was inserted as a last minute addition. This would explain why there were no mentions by the commentary team of the new Women Championship titles.

Vince has been very hands of lately, making several changes after the recent decline in ratings. It will be interesting to see what other changes me makes heading into WrestleMania season.
