As seen on Sky Bet, there’s a brand new favourite to win the men’s 30-man Royal Rumble match next month.
The last we heard Drew McIntyre was the betting favourite to walk out of Phoenix with a one way ticket to WrestleMania 35, but that’s no longer the case. Of course, anything can happen in the blink of an eye when it comes to the Rumble, but the new favourite is certainly a convincing one.
Whatever goes down at the show we all know there are going to be entertaining moments, but we can’t forget just how important it’s going to be. This is the kind of match that sets the stage for the entire Road to WrestleMania, and fans want to come out of the event feeling like there’s a real direction.
The new betting favourite to win the men’s Royal Rumble match is Seth Rollins with odds of 13/8, with Drew McIntyre coming in at a close second place with odds of 5/2. The Miz is the third favourite at 9/2, with AJ Styles and The Rock rounding off the top five, both at 9/1. Rollins’ current rival, Dean Ambrose, is only the 10th favourite down at 25/1.
Many fans have speculated that The Architect would wind up moving onto the Universal Championship after his feud with Ambrose, and if these odds are to be believed, that’s what is going to happen.
Rollins has been tipped for superstardom for a long time now, and who knows, perhaps he could be the man to dethrone Brock Lesnar once and for all.
