As seen on Sky Bet, the betting odds for Season 2 of the Mixed Match Challenge have been released.
It’s no exaggeration to say that this edition of the tournament has been bizarre from start to finish, and the perfect way of proving that is by turning your attention towards the final line-up. Carmella & R-Truth will be facing Jinder Mahal & Alicia Fox, with the winners not only winning the tournament, but also winning the right to be the 30th entrant in their respective Royal Rumble matches.
That’s a pretty high honour and if you’d have gone back to the start of MMC Season 2, we highly doubt that many would’ve predicted these two teams to reach the final.
In terms of the betting odds, Carmella & R-Truth are currently the 2/5 betting favourites to win the match and the tournament with Fox & Mahal being 7/4 underdogs.
One idea that has been thrown around (shout out to Cultaholic) is that Truth will try to enter the women’s Royal Rumble match instead of the men’s, which will open the door for a surprise entrant in the men’s edition of the match – which is always a fun prospect.
Either way it’ll be something of a surprising result, although if they play their cards right, they could have some fun with this in terms of the backstage segments.
It’s one of the many matches that fans are 50/50 on heading into WWE TLC this weekend, but one thing is for sure, WWE are certainly making sure as many people get on the card as possible in San Jose.
