RAW Superstars Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson are known primarily to WWE audiences as The Revival. As former NXT Tag Team Champions, Dawson and Wilder were praised for the style they bring to the ring. In fact, their abilities in the ring attracted the attention of The Young Bucks, alongside the various other members of The Bullet Club (now the members of The Elite).
Once Dawson and Wilder arrived on RAW, they found themselves unable to make a lasting impact through injuries. Now that both men are back in the ring, uninjured, it appears WWE is focusing on teams such as Bobby Roode & Chad Gable and AOP with Drake Maverick. Where has The Revival found themselves? Facing off against Kalisto, Gran Metalik, and Lince Dorado- the Lucha House Party several times over the past few weeks.
Rollins’ promo was applauded by fans as he said a lot of what the audience has said themselves on social media and at the arenas around the world over the past few months. Of course, while this was a scripted promo by WWE, it still let all the fans know that their voices are heard to some degree. The Revival were among the listeners and were name-dropped in Rollins’ promo as two men who should be competing for the RAW Tag Team Championship.
Both Dawson and Wilder took to Twitter to respond to the promo Rollins gave, commending the Intercontinental Champion for giving a voice to those Superstars who don’t seem to have one right now.
