Hulk Hogan is known for his posing, legdrop, and tearing his shirt off. Those were his signature moves, but he had plenty more he liked to work into a match. As it turns out, one of those moves was always incredibly stiff in the ring.
During a shoot interview with RF Video, Bret Hart revealed what it was like working with Hulk Hogan on the few occasions that they had matches against each other. They didn’t mix it up much, but Hart remembers one move that Hogan used to do that really hurt.
“Hogan used to do that clothesline in the corner, and that was stiff as Hell. Might as well have had someone driving a truck at ya. It was always stiff, it would always hurt and a lot of guys got hurt by that.”
Hulk Hogan and Bret Hart didn’t have to wrestle each other many times because Hogan was earmarked as a singles star and Bret was in the Hart Foundation tag team. The Hitman does remember mixing it up with Hulk Hogan in the ring, but both he and Jim Neidhart really remembered that running clothesline Hogan did in the corner.
