WWE looks to be adding even more talent to the WWE Performance Center very soon as their apparent raid on top indie talent continues. ROH and MLW will take a blow with this latest crop of signings for sure as will the rest of the indie wrestling scene. But it’s not likely that WWE will stop at this latest batch of three signings.
ACH, Trevor Lee, and Sam Shaw have impressed people where ever they worked before on the indies, but as Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio, it appears they are on their way into WWE very soon.
“They’re all going to WWE,” Meltzer confirmed as cohost Bryan Alvarez brought up the fact that WWE is going to be signing up as many talents as possible at this point, especially with the rumored All Elite Wrestling being a huge possibility at this point.
“They’re gonna try to sign up everybody, of course. Especially right now. They don’t want that door to open.”
It was noted that WWE has gone from not having any big competition before into suddenly up against a ratings monster. It happened with WCW in the Monday Night Wars and Vince McMahon doesn’t want that again. So they’re likely to continue this trend in signing up everyone they possibly can who could be benecicial for competition down the line.
