As seen on Sky Bet, the betting odds for who will be Universal Champion after WrestleMania 35 have been released.
Survivor Series is in the rear view mirror and that can mean only one thing: the countdown to WrestleMania has begun. The tickets have gone on sale, the travel packages have gone on sale, and fans have started making arrangements for the 2019 Royal Rumble with WWE even making some stipulations for the show in January.
Of course, one of the big questions that always comes out of WrestleMania is who will hold the world titles up high as the show goes off the air – and with the Universal title, there are certainly some interesting favourites in the running.
The joint favourites to hold the big red strap up high following WM35 are Braun Strowman, which isn’t too much of a surprise, and The Rock, both with odds of 7/2.
The belief from many fans regarding these two gentlemen is that either Strowman will challenge Brock for the title or defend it after winning the championship at the Royal Rumble, and for The Rock, some believe that he’ll win the Rumble and challenge Lesnar for the title before defending it in Saudi Arabia.
Regardless of whether or not you believe in those theories yourself, it’s certainly interesting to speculate about all of this, with the top five in the list being rounded off by Drew McIntyre (6/1), Seth Rollins (7/1) and Dean Ambrose (8/1). Either way, it seems like we’re in for a rollercoaster ride leading up to Mania.
