Lars Sullivan vignettes started airing during the Survivor Series kickoff show and they haven’t stopped either. We previously reported that Vince McMahon saw the video package and loved it so much that he pushed the airdate ahead from the previously planned TLC pay-per-view. But now we wonder how Sullivan will be used.
Brad Shepard said on Oh, You Didn’t Know that a source confirmed to him that the thinking backstage would be to move him into a position on the blue team where he can work and get over first. Because Raw already has a big man with a similar gimmick in Braun Strowman.
“Essentially I was told they believe that he would be overlooked on the main roster especially if he goes to RAW because basically, Strowman is a bigger Lars Sullivan right down to the mountain man look and beard. They believe Lars would start on SmackDown and work with some smaller talent in the beginning to be successful.”
At 6-foot-3 and 300 pounds, Sullivan is a big guy in NXT, but when he gets to the main roster there aren’t very many people he can really squash because there are a few people who are bigger than him.
It looks like WWE could have some big plans for Sullivan but we’ll just have to wait and see what happens and who they place him against. But if I were a betting man, you could probably expect him to be working on Tuesdays when he makes his main roster debut unless something changes.
