Braun Strowman was written off of television as Raw kicked off this week just as things were starting to get moving toward the next pay-per-view. But a post-match beatdown from Baron Corbin caused Braun Strowman to be led away apparently injured.
Strowman is legit injured, but it’s not as bad as WWE was trying to play it off as. However, as Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio since a surgery is required on his elbow, then he needs to get it done right away which is why they put this angle in action right away.

“Maybe he wants to have surgery this week because the longer he doesn’t have surgery, that puts the San Jose match in more jeopardy and they want to do the San Jose match. So he probably needed to do it, get that thing done right away.”

Ideally, Braun Strowman will be back by the time TLC rolls around, but he has under a month to have a little elbow work done and get medically cleared. Hopefully, he can do it, and at least he’s not healing from the kind of serious shattered elbow injury that WWE claimed he suffered on television.
