As seen on Sky Bet, there is a new betting favourite to win the 2019 men’s Royal Rumble match.
The 30-man Rumble spectacular is often considered to be the highlight of the WWE calendar by many, with the fun sequences and unpredictable eliminations making for a thoroughly entertaining match. Of course, it’s been pretty hit and miss in recent years, but millions will still continue to tune in as the Road to WrestleMania officially begins.
The 2019 edition of the Royal Rumble will take place at Chase Field in Arizona, which should be all the proof that fans need regarding just how big WWE is going to go with the stars they book for the event.
In terms of the betting odds, Drew McIntyre is now the 2/1 favourite to book his ticket to the main event of WrestleMania 35. Braun Strowman, who Drew has clashed with in recent weeks, is next up at 3/1 with The Miz being a somewhat unlikely third favourite at 7/2.
McIntyre’s rise up through the ranks since returning to WWE has been well documented, from his time in NXT all the way up to his current work on Monday Night Raw.
He continues to be one of the highlights of WWE programming on a week by week basis, with many believing that he could well step into Roman Reigns’ shoes by becoming ‘the guy’. Whether that happens or not, there’s no doubting that it’ll be interesting to see where his journey takes him as we gear up for the Rumble.
