WWE Rumored To Be Calling Up Two Top Stars Following NXT TakeOver: WarGames

NXT TakeOver: WarGames is going down tonight and WWE Survivor Series is the next night in LA. After most big pay-per-views we always have the chance to seeing an NXT Superstar receive their main roster call-up. But the rumor is that we could be seeing a couple names make their main roster debuts.
Joe Peisich said on Barnburner’s No Holds Barred podcast that he’s heard two Superstar additions to the main roster are expected. But the real question is which ones will get the call.

“Two of the guys from what I hear, two of the guys from what I hear of all the matches we’re going to talk about [during NXT TakeOver: WarGames] are gonna be called up to the main roster the following Monday or Tuesday for SmackDown. Could be Aleister Black, could be Johnny Gargano or it could be one Tommaso Ciampa (I don’t think if he’s going to retain the title) or the Velveteen Dream.”

It sounds like WWE has some incredible options on bringing up some new talent. It will be exciting as all of NXT’s main roster call-ups are. But if I were a betting man, WWE hasn’t proven themselves to be ones that take care of NXT’s characters very often.
