Lana Blames Botched Spot During WWE Raw On Becky Lynch Injury

Lana was alerted to a video going around online of her pulling a punch on Dana Brooke during the SmackDown invasion angle on Raw this week. The video is a fan camera which clearly showed Lana botching an elbow and not making anywhere close to real contact which you can check out below.
But Lana’s excuse for this extremely light work on the outside of the ring involved a couple of factors. First off, Lana said she saw blood on Dana Brooke’s face so she suddenly decided not to hit her. Also, she was being told at the same time to get a doctor because Nia Jax really did hit Becky Lynch in the ring and it exploded her nose.
She also went on to discuss how they’re not in the ring to injure each other which is probably a topic going around a lot right now in the WWE locker room.

“I saw blood on Dana’s face so I stopped from hitting her & also was being told to get a doctor and ref because of what just had happened to Becky. We are out there fighting to win but not out there to legitimately hurt one another.”

This sounds like a plausible story, don’t you think?
