As seen on Sky Bet, the official betting odds for the men’s 5v5 Survivor Series match have been released.
When it comes to Survivor Series matches, especially in the last two years with the Raw vs SmackDown Live theme, the men’s match has been viewed as the flagship contest. Some of the biggest and best names have been associated with the bout, and as we look ahead to this Sunday, it certainly seems as if that’s going to be the case once again.
You could make the argument that the two brands have never been closer in terms of quality as well as the ratings, with Team Blue slowly creeping up on Vince McMahon’s baby. Still, that means nothing in a booking environment, and very few people will be surprised to learn the nature of the betting odds for this one.
Team Raw are the favourites to win the match with odds of 8/11, with SD Live not being too far behind at 1/1. With that win, combined with all of the other matches that are set to take place, the betting odds are projecting that Raw will win the overall series 4-3.
That won’t come as too much of a shock given that it is, in fact, the premier brand, but it’ll be intriguing to see whether or not they mix things up between now and Sunday. If nothing else, it would certainly be worth keeping the fans on their toes regarding what they should expect from a pay per view of this magnitude.
