Paige Pitched Idea Of Managing Ronda Rousey In WWE — Wants To Be Like Paul Heyman

Paige is the first-ever NXT Women’s Champion but it is said that she has spinal stenosis and will never wrestle in a WWE ring again. It sounds like she misses wrestling for obvious reasons, but as GM of SmackDown Live, she’s able to stay in the business. However, she might like to get even closer.
Paige recently spoke to Planeta Wrestling where she said that she’s ready for whatever challenge WWE wants to set before her. But one thing she really wants to do is manage. Paige stated that she wants to be like Paul Heyman and revealed that she even pitched to manage Ronda Rousey before. But she’s not just limiting her possible clients to females either because she’s also open to representing men.

“I would do anything. Right now I’m really happy being SmackDown General Manager. It can open so many different doors. I can be so many different characters just being SmackDown General Manager. I can be a good guy, bad guy, whatever I want.”

Paige’s career in WWE might have years to come in it. Therefore, don’t count her out as a manager just yet because there is still plenty of time for that. She might not be allowed to take a bump, but she can still work a microphone. The only trick would be to find a Superstar who needs her help to get them over. But if you ask Paige, Ronda Rousey might be a perfect fit, the only issue is that Rousey seems to be doing just fine on the microphone so far on her own.
