As seen on Sky Bet, there is a new favourite regarding which match will main event WrestleMania 35 next April.
The showcase of the immortals is obviously considered to be the headline making event of the year, but courtesy of the changes that have been made to the Survivor Series card, it seems as if everything has been thrown up in the air.
There was always a great deal of speculation that Charlotte Flair vs Ronda Rousey was being tipped for the main event slot at MetLife Stadium, but now, that match will be happening this Sunday in Los Angeles following Becky Lynch’s removal from the card due to injury.
The odds now suggest that Brock Lesnar vs The Rock is the betting favourite at odds of 3/1 to headline the show. This is a match-up that kickstarted the rise of The Beast Incarnate, formerly known as The Next Big Thing, way back at SummerSlam 2002.
These two men have been rumoured to be on the verge of squaring off for quite some time now, with WrestleMania 30 initially being pinpointed as the stage for their next showdown. Five years on, though, with Reigns set to miss Mania and Rousey/Flair not being a fresh feud anymore, we could finally see the long awaited rematch.
Charlotte vs Ronda (3/1), The Undertaker vs Shawn Michaels (5/1) and Daniel Bryan vs The Miz (6/1) are all still said to be in the running, but either way, it seems as if we’re in for quite a few twists and turns in the next few months.
