Alexa Bliss has been out of action for quite some time after suffering an injury in a tag team match against Nia Jax and Ronda Rousey. The concussion she suffered in that match wasn’t the first she’s had because apparently, they just kept coming. WWE got very cautious with Bliss and pulled her from in-ring action which meant she was forced to miss WWE Evolution.
But now Bliss is updating fans on her progress. She’s back in the gym even though she is taking it slow. It seems her motivation has changed since being sidelined. She used to seek perfection and now she’s just looking for some kind of progress.
“Done looking for perfection, now looking for progress. New Focus, New motivation. Starting slow, keeping it light in the gym, light in the ring & step by step coming back better, stronger & healthier,” Bliss wrote along with a video of her in the gym which you can see below.
The light work will eventually progress until she’s back and better than ever. It’s nice to hear she’s taking it light in the gym and the ring in the meantime which could be a good sign that a medical clearance is very hopeful.
Hopefully, it won’t take much time for Bliss to make it back in the ring. But she’s just looking to get stronger and healthier at this point. It’s one of those rare times when I hope Bliss takes a bump at Survivor Series as team captain because that would likely mean she’s cleared for a return.
