As seen on Sky Bet, the betting odds for this weekend’s Cruiserweight Championship match at Survivor Series have been revealed.
Survivor Series has snuck up on a lot of fans to the point where many are left feeling lukewarm regarding their excitement levels for the show in Los Angeles. Regardless of that, though, it still seems like the card is stacked from top to bottom, with the Cruiserweight Championship bout being a particular sleeper for many.
Buddy Murphy will be defending the purple belt, which he won in his home nation of Australia, against Mustafa Ali who has been scratching and clawing to try and get to the top of the division for months now.
In terms of the odds themselves, very few fans will be surprised to hear that Murphy is indeed the favourite to retain his championship at 4/9. Ali is, as he is so often, the underdog at 13/8, although he’s definitely still considered to be one of 205 Live’s top stars and that’ll still be the case regardless of whether or not he walks away with the strap on Sunday.
205 Live has been quietly churning out great matches for months on end now, and it feels like that’ll start paying off for them as we look ahead to the future.
Some would argue that the brand will never be taken seriously given how many alternatives there are for fans to watch, but with Triple H at the helm (or potentially helping out), it feels like the only way is up.
