Braun Strowman is apparently having some issues backstage. It seems that this might not be a new thing either. But he’s a Superstar who didn’t spend much time in NXT and as we previously reported, that might play into why he behaves the way he does.

Mike Johnson went on to elaborate in more detail about Braun’s issues during PW Insider Elite audio. Apparently, these problems have kept Strowman from getting to the next level in WWE as he continues to misstep backstage and cause an issue for himself.

“One of the things I heard from multiple people and we’re talking 4 different people was that there are times where Strowman is negligent when it comes to showing up on time. He has a reputation at times for leaving a little early and sometimes makes mistakes in terms of etiquette in the backstage scene and the locker room and is sometimes as one person put it, ‘His own worst enemy’ and ‘His worst advocate.'”
“They will be high on him and just when he gets to the point where you would think the next step would be putting him into the centerpiece position for the company something happens and he makes some kind of misstep backstage and people within management kind of cool on him and they take a step back.”

This is not a good sign for Braun Strowman, but it might explain his stop/start pushes. After all, he was crushed with a trash compactor one week, came back the next and then months later he was defeated by 5 F5’s at WWE Crown Jewel.

Only time will tell if Strowman will be able to correct these mistakes, but if he’s his “own worst advocate,” then perhaps there could be someone available to help guide him.
