Good News On Shayna Baszler’s Injury Status After WWE Evolution

Shayna Baszler fought a hard match against Kairi Sane at WWE Evolution and it was one of the highlights of the card for a lot of fans. Many people thought it was the best match, but apparently, Baszler was banged up during the encounter that saw her getting another run with the NXT Women’s Title.
But Baszler was seen walking on crutches at the airport following WWE Evolution. It was reported that she banged up her ankle and it will need to be evaluated.
Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that Baszler is oaky and actually didn’t need the crutches. She won’t miss the upcoming NXT TakeOver: WarGames event either. Thankfully, she likely won’t miss much time from the ring in the process because of the way NXT runs things.
It’s a good thing that NXT has already taped their television shows throughout the end of the run to NXT TakeOver: WarGames. Therefore, Baszler could get by with recovering from a little rest.
