Alexa Bliss’ Replacement In Case She Can’t Work WWE Evolution

Alexa Bliss is set to wrestle at WWE Evolution in a tag team match with Mickie James against Trish Stratus and Lita. This used to be 2 singles matches, but WWE mixed them together. But now that Alexa Bliss looks to have suffered a concussion, she might not be able to work the historic show.
There was a backstage segment with Lita and Trish Stratus where they beat down Mickie James and Alicia Fox. After all, Bliss was sent home following her concussion on Saturday night.
Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that the reason why Alica Fox was involved in the backstage segment last night on Raw was that she is the plan to replace Alexa Bliss in the match in case she isn’t cleared to work the Evolution pay-per-view this Sunday.
Interestingly enough, Foxy was also the backup for Liv Morgan after her concussion in case she couldn’t work the WWE Super Show-Down event in Australia. Of course, Morgan could work the show but it didn’t help her get the W over Ronda Rousey and The Bella Twins.
Only time will tell how bad Bliss’ concussion is. After all, head trauma has caused premature ends to careers before. Our fingers are crossed that she’ll be able to work WWE Evolution, but at least they have a backup plan in case she can’t work the event.
