NXT Might Be Swerving Fans With Upcoming Johnny Gargano Storyline

Johnny Gargano is in a current storyline in NXT that could see his character turn heel. He attacked Aleister Black at the recent NXT television tapings leading a lot of people to assume that he was actually the guy responsible for attacking the former NXT Champion.
But it was noted on PW Insider Elite audio that although it seems apparent that Gargano attacked Black, this could be a swerve and many fans have echoed that statement. While it is possible that Johnny Gargano is seemingly turning heel it might be possible that there is more to the story.
NXT’s storylines are usually more than WWE’s for many reasons. For one, they get to tape a month’s worth of shows in one night so they have a clear direction to tell stories. Therefore, this might be not only a tease for the show but also for the Internet Wrestling Community as well — like us who read spoilers and know what’s going to happen.
It is possible that something was filmed backstage to tie this all together but a few interesting theories have risen about why Gargano would be forced to publically attack Aleister Black. Perhaps he is covering for someone that is very near and dear to his heart?
Only time will tell how NXT books this storyline, but it has certainly captured our interest in tuning into NXT.
