SAnitY leader Eric Young continues to tease a return for the group at SmackDown 1000 tonight.
The faction haven’t been seen on WWE television for quite some time now, after making a strong impact upon initially debuting. Some are suggesting that their re-debut, of sorts, will include Nikki Cross, who has wound up spending a few more months down in NXT.
The show tonight is already shaping up to be more stacked that the majority of cards this year, which is saying something, given that the international shows alone have been worth talking about.
Eric Young himself has been something of a surprise package since arriving to WWE, with many fans wondering whether or not he’d make for a good addition to the roster. Alas, he settled into his role with SAnitY almost immediately, and some would argue that he could one day be in line for a run with a midcard championship.
There’s a good chance that the group will go after New Day once they return, although Young has hinted in other recent social media posts that we’ll ‘learn why it started’ likely in reference to the faction.
Many fans are speculating as to whether or not SD1000 can live up to Raw 1000 which was also considered to be a fantastic landmark show, but whatever happens, it’s just nice to head into an episode of SmackDown Live knowing that quite literally anything, and anyone, could pop up when we least expect it.
With that being said, we’ll leave the rest of the speculation up to you.
