Shawn Michaels Likely Not Working Survivor Series If WWE Crown Jewel Is Cancelled

Shawn Michaels’ in-ring return will take place in a tag team match at WWE Crown Jewel. This epic encounter is set for November 2nd, but WWE has a lot of pressure to change the event or call it off completely.
Bryan Alvarez said on Wrestling Observer Live that although he’s been wrong before, he does not think that a Shawn Michaels return will happen at Survivor Series if WWE pulls out of the Saudi Arabia show. Therefore, it was the huge amount of money that is the real enticing factor for HBK.
He went on to say that if the Crown Jewel show is relocated or canceled, although WWE’s working backup plan might be to just simply move the marquee matches to Survivor Series, it appears HBK won’t be along for that ride.
It was also noted that Alvarez believes that HBK wouldn’t work Survivor Series, but a DX vs Brothers Of Destruction match could be simply changed to WrestleMania. Therefore, he said there are no plans for HBK to work a singles match at this point because it was the Saudi money that brought him back to the ring and likely little else.
