Possible Signs WWE Will Stick With Greatest Royal Rumble And Crown Jewel For Saudi Arabia Events

WWE has a 5-year deal with the Kingdom Of Saudi Arabia to let them use their product as propaganda for an undisclosed amount of money. But suffice it to say it’s a ton of cash because it’s enough to bring Shawn Michaels back from retirement.
The Greatest Royal Rumble was a big event weeks after WrestleMania that made some fans wonder if WWE was holding out at Mania for Saudi Arabia. Now Crown Jewel will see DX vs The Brothers Of Destruction and AJ Styles vs Daniel Bryan for the WWE Championship in a match that will hopefully be over 5 minutes.
When you get on WWE’s website and search for either Saudi event, not only does the name come up as a category, but also the name of the even with a year following it as a separate entry. They did the same thing for the Super Show-Down which we previously reported.
This would lead us to believe that WWE is planning more of these events which is obvious because their deal is for the next 5 years. But it could also be a good clue that they will be holding a Greatest Royal Rumble a few weeks after Mania and a Crown Jewel event a couple weeks before Survivor Series.
Only time will tell what WWE decides to do, after all it’s their company and the can make up any name for their event. But the Greatest Royal Rumble and Crown Jewel are likely going to stick around in some form or fashion.
