The WWE Super Show-Down took place in Melbourne Australia and for fans in the USA who caught the show, it meant that they needed to wake up at 5:00 am to catch the show from the beginning, but if you were in London the show was actually on during a more reasonable hour of 10:00 am. The Rock just so happens to be in London right now working on the upcoming Fast & The Furious spinoff movie, but he wasn’t watching WWE even though he probably could have caught the action.
Dwyane Johnson updated his Instagram feed about 2 1/2 hours into WWE Super Show-Down with a picture of his cheat meal consisting of a massive amount of sushi recommended by his good friend Stanley Tucci. He also showed fans what he was watching while he shoveled tons of delicious Asian food into his mouth but it wasn’t the Super Show-Down.
Instead, The Rock was watching the Mr. Rogers documentary “Won’t You Be My Neighbor” for the second time. He commented about how much he can’t wait to see Tom Hanks play the part of Rogers in the upcoming biopic. Of course, we can’t wait to see Mr. Rogers played by Hanks either because we’re sure it will be incredible. But with the Super Show-Down going down, it’s hard to pay attention to anything but that for us at this point.
Only time will tell if WWE will be able to get The Great One to return for one night on October 16th’s SmackDown 1000 episode, but after he was done shooting Hobbs and Shaw for the day in London, The Rock didn’t feel like watching wrestling, instead, he preferred a much more nostalgic program.
