WWE Superstar Reportedly Got To Skip NXT For A Very Interesting Reason

Mike and Maria Kanellis haven’t been seen much on WWE television in a very long time because Maria had to take off when she became pregnant. Of course, she’s gotten back into terrific shape as has Mike Kanellis. But neither had to spend any time in NXT as they just debuted at Money In The Bank last year.
It was noted on PW Insider Elite audio that Mike Kanellis got to skip the WWE Performance Center and NXT, but it had little to do with him. In fact, it had pretty much everything to do with what his wife was bringing to the table.
Since Maria Kanellis was such a veteran and ready for the main roster already, the idea was to just bring him into the main roster. Of course, it has been somewhat proven that this might not have been the best idea seeing how things turned out for The Power Of Love. But since Maria gave birth and Mike really cleaned himself up, it looks like they’re both ready for another good look.
Only time will tell if WWE will repackage the two or what their plan is to reimplement Maria onto television, but apparently, the reason they got to skip NXT was because of Marie Kanellis and not Mike.
