WWE Still Reportedly Working On Huge Name For SmackDown 1000

SmackDown 1000 is taking place on October 16th and that date is coming up on us quickly and will be here before we know it. WWE is going to bring in some big names from their history who have been able to influence the show throughout the years but nobody did more for SmackDown than The Rock, after all, it was once known as “The Rock’s show.”
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that while it’s not a lock at this point, WWE is wanting to bring The Rock in for the SmackDown 1000 event.
Washington DC has a major airport so it’s not out of the question that WWE could arrange to have The Rock flown in from his Hobbs and Shaw spin-off movie from the Fast & The Furious franchise.
We’ll just have to wait and see if they can arrange another extreme travel situation to bring in an unexpected WWE Superstar.
