WWE Dropped Idea For Another Product For The New Day

The New Day are very good at marketing items, after all, they’ve sold a ton of merchandise in the process. This week on SmackDown, we are going to be treated to seeing what Big E’s grandmother’s secret pancake recipe is which is something we’ve always asked for, right?
If you’ve wondered why The New Day have attached themselves so heavily into the pancake gimmick, there could be a good reason for it.
Bryan Alvarez noted on Wrestling Observer Live that there was at one point an idea within WWE for them to market New Day pancake batter or syrup. Those plans fell through, but apparently, they kept the gimmick going. Now we are dealing with pancakes everytime they come to the ring.
Only time will tell how it all ends for the pancake/New Day connection, but it doesn’t seem to be slowing down much at all.
