Neville decided that he didn’t want to lose a match to Enzo Amore so he walked out of the company. It was a simple decision in October last year, but it turned into a much bigger deal.
WWE wouldn’t let Neville out of his contract and The King Of The Cruiserweights decided to move back to the UK and not talk to anyone about the business. He was recently released from his WWE contract which has been confirmed, but there is still something interesting going on.
While it’s not clear what Neville might be waiting for, The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Neville was speaking to a few indie companies but those talks have since ceased. He apparently cited legal issues and now he has “gone off the grid” and stopped replying to any promoters.
To add even more intrigue, Will Ospreay wants to have a match against Neville at Wrestle Kingdom for New Japan Pro Wrestling. But it was noted due to “legal issues” that it is uncertain if Neville would want to have a Wrestle Kingdom match with Ospreay (as great as that would be) nor do we know if Neville wants anything to do with pro wrestling at this point in time.
