Corey Graves voiced his thoughts on the Brie Bella issue on social media earlier this morning.
Graves, who is no stranger to making some noise on Twitter, spoke about the ongoing situation involving Brie and Liv Morgan. For those of you who don’t know, Brie accidentally knocked Liv Morgan out on Monday Night Raw courtesy of two ‘Yes’ kicks to the face.
The incident caused a great deal of backlash from the WWE Universe and beyond, but in turn, several wrestlers both past and present have spoken out on the ordeal. Graves, who was forced to retire due to injuries before becoming a commentator, had the following to say.
Brie is set to feature prominently on WWE television moving forward, and as it stands, this incident doesn’t appear to be changing that. The company confirmed last night that Morgan did indeed suffer a concussion, but it remains to be seen regarding how much time she could take off from in ring action.
The Bella Twins are known for being controversial figures in the world of professional wrestling, with many not believing that they’re good enough to be in the ring. Alas, it doesn’t matter what the fans think at this stage, because the sisters have built quite the media empire for themselves over the course of the last few years.
Brie is set to team with Nikki and Ronda Rousey to face The Riott Squad at the upcoming WWE Super Show-Down event, which will take place at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
