Following the Hell in a Cell match between Jeff Hardy and Randy Orton, WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry took to Busted Open Radio to explain what he thinks about the third-generation Superstar.
Henry believes Orton deserves another run as World Champion. Notably, Henry mentions the Universal Championship, which is currently strapped around the waist of Roman Reigns. Orton was last World Champion around WrestleMania 33 after he defeated Bray Wyatt at the event-before ultimately losing the WWE Championship to Jinder Mahal at Payback.
Henry had the following comments:
“I told you when I first signed onto this show that Randy Orton is one of my top favorite wrestlers of all-time, and that he’s one of the most underrated guys of all time. Because his accolades speak for himself, his talent speaks for himself. Randy’s getting meaner and more vicious.
“He started off very smooth and fluid, and usually guys like him don’t rise to the level of excellence that he’s rose to. But he’s been able to do that. I’m looking forward to seeing him get his just due. Randy needs to be in that conversation for Universal Champion-type roles. He’s that good.”

Orton appears to be wrapping up the storyline with Hardy. If this is the case, it is likely Orton either moves to feud with Shinsuke Nakamura for the United States Championship or finds another feud to occupy himself as the WWE Championship is currently in the hands of AJ Styles, who is feuding with Samoa Joe. Depending on the result between The Miz and Daniel Bryan at WWE Super Show-Down, there will be another Superstar ready to take on Styles for the title.
