WWE Reportedly Having Meetings With Former UFC Champion

Cain Velasquez showed up at the WWE Performance Center for some training a little while ago leading some people to wonder what his intentions were. Dave Meltzer said on Wrestling Observer Radio at the time that it was an attempt by Cain to show he has other options.
This could be very true at this point because Joe Peisich said on the Barnburner Fired Up podcast that WWE is having meetings with the former 2-time UFC Heavyweight Champion.

“You saw maybe 2 months ago former UFC Champion Cain Velasquez training in the WWE Performance Center. I have heard that they have been having meetings with Cain Velasquez. I don’t know if Cain Velasquez is going to turn from UFC to WWE or whatever but there’s been talk between WWE and Cain Velasquez, so that’s all I’m going to say here.”

Only time will tell if WWE can score another former UFC Champion, but it seems if WWE has their way we could be seeing Cain Velasquez showing up in the squared circle soon enough.
