Could, would, should. Three words that rhyme. They’re also three words that ask a question, and I’m asking some questions right now. I’ve got questions about R-Truth challenging Shinsuke Nakamura for the United States Championship.
Sure, R-Truth is, well, R-Truth. Still, it cannot be denied that the man can still go when he steps between those four three ropes. What if he was next to challenge Shinsuke Nakamura for the United States Championship?

could r-truth challenge shinsuke nakamura for the united states championship?

Sort of a weirdly phrased question, I know. Again, it’s predetermined. If WWE wanted Mike Kanellis to face Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship in a Three Stages of Hell match, it would happen. If they want it to happen, it totally would. But could R-Truth challenge for the United States championship and not be written off as a throwaway feud?
I feel like he could. Truth could get the crowd behind him with a snap of his fingers. He’s a respected veteran, deceptively agile, and a crowd favorite with a great gimmick. What’s not to love?
In time, Truth could be built up as a credible threat. His victory over the Miz boosts his momentum, and next thing you know, he’s challenging for the United States Championship.
With just a bit of time, this could totally happen.

would r-truth challenge shinsuke nakamura for the united states championship?

Would WWE put Truth in a position to challenge for the United States Championship? I feel like the answer is yes. Stranger things have happened on Smackdown. Dolph Ziggler challenged Dean Ambrose for the WWE Championship. Heath Slater and Rhyno became tag team champions. Baron Corbin failed a Money in the Bank cash-in, while Jinder Mahal became WWE Champion for half a year. It seems like WWE is a fan of shaking things up every now and again. Maybe WWE would have R-Truth face Shinsuke Nakamura for the United States Championship?
R-Truth is one of those guys that I feel will forever be over with the crowd. Therefore, people will care about what he’s up to. So have him maybe squash the Colons for a week or two. Next thing you know, he’s challenging for the star-spangled belt.

should r-truth challenge shinsuke nakamura for the united states championship?

I personally feel that this could be a good idea, Both men are just so weird that a feud between the two of them could really be something else. There are so many directions that this could take. I’m also almost certain that the two men playing off each other’s weirdness would be something to witness.
The matches will probably not be bad as well, because both men are seasoned veterans in the ring. Truth is deceptively agile, and when he moves you almost forget he’s been around for nearly half a century. When the two faced off a few weeks ago, they had some really good chemistry. The match could have been something good if it wasn’t a squash.
I’d watch a program between the two, even if it was just for the promos. To see both of them either confused by the other or try to outweird the other would be something to see. If this happens, I’ll be keeping an eye on it.
