WWE superstar Bray Wyatt has confirmed on social media that he’s going away to ‘find himself’, but not before he threw a shot at the company.
The Eater of Worlds has been rumoured to be on the verge of a slight character change for quite some time now, in the wake of his partnership with Woken Matt Hardy coming to an end. Many fans have been eager to see what Wyatt can do as a babyface, but unfortunately, we haven’t really had an extended run of that on WWE television.
In the below tweet, Wyatt seems to take exception to The Wyatt Family not being included in a list of the top 10 factions of all time – while also confirming that he’s taking some time off.
Nobody is sure as to what the future holds for Bray, but if it was up to the WWE Universe, then he’d likely have been a multiple-time world champion by now. His one and only reign with the WWE Championship only lasted around a month and came to an end in emphatic fashion at WrestleMania 33 when he was defeated by Randy Orton.
Matt Hardy, who is the other half of this equation, seems to be moving into more of a behind the scenes role amid rumours that his in-ring career could be coming to an end.
Bray has been with WWE since 2009 but at the age of just 31, he likely still has many more years left in this business if he does choose to stay.
