Backstage Note On What Kind Of Shape Shawn Michaels Is In For One More Match

Shawn Michaels teased an in-ring return in a pretty big way on Raw this week leaving a lot of fans wanting to see him face The Undertaker rather than Triple H. The Austrailian Super Show-Down is booked, but The Wrestling Observer Newsletter said that a Michaels match could take place when WWE returns to Saudi Arabia on November 2nd.
Mike Johnson also noted on PW Insider Elite Audio that HBK is probably keeping in great shape as well. He can obviously flex, but it was alluded to that Shawn Michaels might also be keeping the ring rust off as well.

“He’s working out in the ring every day with these guys in the Performance Center so I think he’s in better ring-shape than anybody realizes.”

Only time will tell when we get another match with Shawn Michaels but when that time comes he’ll probably be able to bring enough of the old HBK back to remind us why we wanted to see him return so much. After all, he has a hand in training the NXT Superstars now and he’s obviously keeping in shape which comes with the territory when you work at the WWE Performance Center.
