The WWE Women’s Revolution won’t stop at Evolution and even if they don’t have the Women’s Tag Team Titles ready to go by then, it looks like there could already be more additions in the pipeline as well.
Joe Peisich said on Barnburner’s Fired Up said that fans should look for new titles to be added to the women’s division soon enough. One of those titles might even be a singles championship that could add a lot of drama to the women on Raw and SmackDown.
“There were several rumors going around for I don’t know a month, a month and a half that the WWE are going to show or bring a new tag team ladies title. There are also rumors going around that eventually they want to have sort of an Intercontinental or US Title for the ladies as well.”
“That’s news coming out that I just heard today. Look for tag titles and maybe an Intercontinental title appearing in the ladies revolution possibly by early next year.”
Only time will tell what they end up doing or how a secondary title will change things for the women’s division on both brands, but with so much talent it might make sense for some kind of title to be awarded to someone who isn’t Ronda Rousey if WWE’s plan is for her to carry their Raw Women’s Title for as long as she could probably hold it.
