How Many Hell In A Cell Matches Should We Expect This Year?

Hell In A Cell is upon us again and WWE could go any way with their stories. With so many things going on at once, it’s impossible to make every match a Hell In A Cell match, but it looks like WWE is going to book a few matches this year.

Bryan Alvarez said on Wrestling Observer Live that he heard WWE is planning 3 HIAC matches this year and one could be Randy Orton vs Jeff Hardy and two more as well.

“You’ve got to do a Hell In A Cell pay-per-view. There are going to be 3 cell matches. The only problem is that you know Jeff is going to want to do something stupid. He’s going to want to do that Swanton off the top of the cage which he’s not even doing that at house shows off the top rope much less off the top of the cage.”

“I think there are going to be 3 cell matches. That was the impression that was given. They could do Becky and Charlotte maybe. Maybe [AJ and Joe], maybe not.”

Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch could lock up in a Cell match as well as Joe and AJ for the WWE Championship. Of course, if that happens that would mean all 3 matches would be on SmackDown.
